Toñita Fest marked a new chapter in commemorating Toñita and the whole community in a vast event that built on the success of her 50th Anniversary, transforming a milestone celebration into an annual tradition. What began as a tribute to Toñita’s legacy has now grown into a cultural festival that unites generations, showcases Latin talent, and strengthens the community’s presence in New York.

Visual Identity
Festival brand design was crafted by Puerto Rican illustrator Michael Ocasio, whose vibrant and culturally rooted style gave the event its unique visual identity. Complementing this, the image compositions were created by festival director Giovanni González, who drew on his background in visual arts, film, and post-production to capture the spirit of Toñita and the Caribbean Social Club.

For six hours straight, the block buzzed with life, with 2,000 people at a time from all walks of life danced, mingled, and celebrated together. In total, an estimated 6,100 guests came out to enjoy the music, savor delicious food, and soak in the vibrant community vibes!
